One Moore Book is currently seeking three interns. Internships are unpaid but may qualify for college credit. An ideal candidate has excellent writing skills, has experience in social media marketing (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr) and has an interest in the publishing field.

The descriptions of positions available are listed below:

An Editorial intern (JVP program) will be actively enrolled in a university English, print journalism  or other related program. The individual must demonstrate exceptional writing and editing skills, knowledge of the publishing industry and attention to detail. 

Duties: *Review of Joint Venture Publishing submissions *Review of JVP program correspondence *Assist Publisher & JVP editor with proofreading and other editing needs *Conducting research related to the children’s book publishing industry, including industry developments and trends

A Public Relations intern will be actively enrolled in a university public relations, marketing, advertising or other related program. The individual must demonstrate the ability to undertake basic public relations writing assignments, and posses an understanding of basic media relations skills.

Duties: * Drafts basic public relations materials including press releases, media alerts, and other materials as directed * Assists with event planning activities and arrangements as outlined by publisher * Assists with the development and updating of media lists and other databases, media database creation and data entry

A Social Media intern will be actively enrolled in a university print journalism, advertising or other related program. The individual must demonstrate excellent writing skills and the ability to develop and navigate strong social media networks on behalf of One Moore Book. Blogger will assist with Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr management and development. 

Duties: * Monitor and post on blogs and social networks * Online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Twitter children’s books blogs and forums and more* Website and social media optimization *Assist with generating keywords and other SEO needs
